Climbing in Chamonix

For those who climb Chamonix needs no introduction, long granite slabs, inspirational spires and of course the famous Chamonix chimneys. If you are keen to try climbing for the first time or improve your standard then the Chamonix valley, with over 10 areas with routes bolted to increase safety, several climbing schools there can be no better place to learn.

There are so many excellent guide books available on the crags and climbs in the Chamonix valley, too many to mention here, you will be hard pressed not to find a route suitable for your level and preferred style.

There is no charge for using the Chamonix climbing area except lift access were necessary.
