The largest part of the mountain biking terrain in Chamonix lends itself to the hardcore, or those who want to be. That’s not to say that there is no great family riding.

As the ski lifts open in the summer for pedestrians and bikers alike it is easy enough to find cruisy trails, technical single track and daunting down hills. Chamonix tourist office publishes a free map which covers about 1% of the available terrain, luckily we mountain bike and are happy to steer you in the right direction! Plenty of choice for bike hire at reasonable prices.
