Chamonix Restaurant Guide

Chamonix has a large variety of cuisine, French, Italian, Swiss, Scandinavian, Japanese and Indian, there is something to satisfy every taste bud and wallet.  Some of our favourites:

Chambre Neuf

A great place to sit and relax and enjoy the friendly mountain atmosphere.  Open just for lunch in winter and evenings as well in summer, the menu offers international dishes such as chicken quesadillas, Swedish meatballs, Chinese noodles and tataki salmon, but the famous Chambre Burger is the most popular dish on the menu! There is also a freshly prepared ‘plat du jour’ (daily special), which is always great value.  04 50 55 89 81

La Maison Carrier

A High Mountain Holidays favourite, classing Savoyarde with a real class twist. The chef is the ex sous-chef from the Albert 1er and offers up some lovely dishes. It was worth a visit just for the dessert Christmas tree - when you see it you will understand!  04 50 53 05 09

One of the best located restaurants in Chamonix with a large terrace and spectacular views of the mountains.  Serving typical Savoyard cuisine and specialties: fondue, raclette, tartiflette, cured meats...
