First snow
The first snowfalls this fell on a surprised Chamonix town on the 14th November 07 and the lift company wasted no time in getting the piste machines out to bash down the snow in preparation for the opening ski weekend.

Ski Ambassador
An excellent idea borrowed from the heavily service orientated US ski resorts, Chamonix’ new Ski Ambassador Service is sure to be a hit.
The idea is simple enough, multi-lingual Chamoniards & long term Chamophiles will be dotted around the ski area to give helpful advice and what to do and where to go. Some of them will be with skis to show you around.
This is a volunteer service which is teaming up at the moment. More info at the Compagnie du Mont Blanc website
